                  Dracaphalisis
Ever heard of those ADHD pills? The ones that, to put it simply, subdue your brain to change its function to calm you down? Yeah, well, if you know it or not, that stuff has completely changed my life. Emphasis on the word changed. In the literal sense. Those bloody pills absolutely, unalterably, twisted my life beyond recognition like some piece of play-dough kids bend beyond recognition.
The play-dough that was bent in my case was my humanity. My sweet, cherished humanity ripped asunder, squished into a whole new... well, I'd be getting  ahead of myself if I'd tell you now. What happened before I even told you the story. I want some guess work done, suspense added. It IS a story after all, and I would hate to spoil the ending.
It all began when I first took the prescribed medicine from my doctor. I was 19 then, at college studying Business and Technology. I had went to him in the first place due to my ADHD. Always had it in my life, and through most of it, I have been able to manage its effects through school and work. But, as a freshmen in college, I had begun to see just how rigorous the scholastics were. And, unfortunately, I realized that having ADHD was proving to be more then my mind could handle. I hated, just hated seeing all my papers having C's and D's; my mind was so preoccupied with other thoughts that I often missed critical instruction that would have saved me in the numerous extorbent essays I had to take.
By and by, I made the arrangements, took confirmatory tests, and did every tiny thing in order to take the medication. And boy, if you saw me now, you could easily tell lest by chance you were mentally ill that the pills I took had more then effects then just clearing my hive of a mind. (And even the mind clearing part it was supposed to do didn't happen... though it did have other mental stimulations.) So, i'll now officially begin my story. Enjoy.

               -------------------
"Don't worry if you don't take it every day Matthew, it won't ruin anything." Doctor Canon smiled.
"And you are sure this new stuff is safe? I mean, you did say this stuff was never used until now."
Dr. Conner laid down his clipboard and nodded reassuringly.
"I give my word. Lots of test were taken on animals and eventually on us human beings. They were fine, and you should be too."
"Watch... I'll have some kind of allergy to it." I said sarcastically.
Dr. Conner gave an exasperated shake of his head, smiling before looking at me with his hazel eyes.
"We already went over the ingredients "dude", and none of them are allergens you are reactive too. I'm not trying to kill you, can't you see?" He looked close to laughing his emotions off as he playfully shoved me.
"Hey!" I chuckled, taking vengeance in pushing him right back.  Now we both were laughing out our antics, shaking our heads around in the small room we were in.
"Okay, okay, anyways Matt," he stopped laughing, though his face was still flushed, "here's your first set of pills. Try to take them everyday, you should notice a difference a little bit after you take them."
He handed me the medicinal case with the pills, which I took after a pause.
"I might as well try it now, see if I die or not."
"Come on Matt... Have some faith." The doctor murmured, loud enough for me to hear, as I unscrewed the cap and plopped one of the several pills within my mouth.
"You forgetting something Matt?" Doc. Conner asked, holding a cup with water he had recently filled without me noticing.
"Oh.... Yeah..." I said sheepishly as I took and drank the water, swallowing down the pill as I did. I saw the doctor shaking his head in good humor as he stood up.
"Just get going Matt. I have another appointment coming up."
"Aye... And I have to be at college soon anyways."
"Then get going you stinking freshman!" He playfully cried, and mockingly pushed me out of the clinic room, a large fat grin on his young face.
Man... him and i were best buds. It seemed that as soon as we met, we were already best of friends. And now, I thought as I looked backed where he was walking in the opposite direction, I might not see him as much.
My footsteps echoed off the black and white tile floors as I made my way to the check out desk, medicine in hand. It was as soon as I got to it that I swore I felt my mind just slow down. The thousands of thoughts, ranging from how dull the walls were in the clinic to wondering if I would be late to college, vanished, leaving only a few focused thought on the task at hand. It was sudden, really sudden. Almost unnatural. To think my entire thought pattern altered in the literal time it takes to blink an eye. I stopped, taking it all in.
"Man... That is some powerful drug..." I thought contemplatively. I was about to go on, but then, like the unexpected guest, a new feeling overcame me. Something rawer,  primal even. A shot of adrenaline that caused my heart to race, my blood to burn, my muscles to reflex.
That feeling... I was intoxicated by it. I felt so... alive, an oppressive fog now removed so I could be free.
I kind of stretched myself out, kinking my neck before I continued walking down the hall, suddenly more confident. My stride was longer, my poise more strongly set. It felt so liberating that I couldn't help but smile as I reached the desk, and waited for the nurse to reply to me.
"So..." She began," when would you like to set up the next visit."
"Eh, why not the 23. Will... Erhem... That work?" My voice came out gravelly and deep, hence my clearing the throat. Not that it wasn't unnatural, I had had a cold sometime previous to coming here, and the built up mucus must have finally kicked in.
"Okay Matthew... That date is perfect if you can come in at 2pm."
"That'll work out just fine actually... ahem... Classes end at 1."
"Okay them Mr.Giles, you are set."
I was about to go, and was almost out the door when I heard the nurse say to a coworker "My... He had lovely blue eyes..."
I did notice in my focused state of mind how her eyes kept drifting up them, my eyes, almost like she couldn't help but look at them more. Problem was, I had olive green eyes... Not blue. And they never... Ever had looked like they were blue... Never.
I was to my car, a grey 2007 Scion, when, out of curiosities sake, I decided to look at one of my side view mirrors. I placed my face in place, and then I just stood there. Mouth agape. Eyes widened to their limits. My eyes were not just a blue color... They were so saturated that they look unearthly... A shade so dark blue that any sky in the world would have gasped in utter awe at their shade.
Worse still, as I continued looking... They were slitted... and I had seen them shift from round to that in a matter of seconds.

Yup, a new story series. Based on a tf though, but it should be okay.
